At Mercy Mall, our mission has always been about more than meeting immediate needs—it’s about stewarding the resources God has provided. Every piece of clothing, every pair of shoes, and every household item donated to us is treated with purpose.
Through our model, we are able to keep thousands of items out of landfills each year. Donations are thoughtfully sorted and distributed to individuals and families experiencing crisis, while additional items are shared with trusted community partners. Because of this, very little is ever thrown away.
Joining 1% for the Planet allows us to deepen this impact and align with a global network committed to protecting and preserving our environment.
Founded in 2002, 1% for the Planet connects businesses and nonprofits working together to support environmental solutions around the world.
This step forward was also inspired by our neighbors at Kyrgies, whose commitment to sustainability has encouraged us to grow in how we care for both people and the planet.
