At Mercy Mall, we provide essential items to individuals and families experiencing a period of extreme hardship or instability as they work toward greater home and life stability. Our goal is to ensure people have access to basic necessities during difficult seasons while being treated with dignity and care.
Through scheduled appointments, we offer pre-packed orders that may include clothing, baby items, toiletries, and household essentials, depending on availability. Every interaction is designed to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where individuals feel respected, encouraged, and supported.
More than just meeting practical needs, we seek to inspire hope and remind each person we serve that they are valued and not alone.
Prison Support
Pack Cases of Hope for Individuals Rebuilding After Incarceration
Mercy Mall’s Cases of Hope program provides individuals rebuilding life after incarceration with essential items and encouragement as they transition back into society. In partnership with local correctional facilities and reentry programs, we supply suitcases filled with clothing, hygiene products, and travel necessities tailored to each recipient. Each case also includes faith-based resources, creative outlets, and a handwritten note of support—reminding them they are valued and not alone. Our mission is to extend love and hope, helping individuals embrace a fresh start with dignity and encouragement.
Healing Support
Room for Change: Creating Safe Spaces for Children to Heal
Room for Change is a personalized healing program that transforms children’s bedrooms into safe, calming spaces after trauma. Support may include essential items such as beds, bedding, décor, and sound machines, as well as more comprehensive room transformations.
Families are referred through our trusted partner, The Davis Child Advocacy Center, and each child is empowered to help design their own space—restoring a sense of control and promoting emotional healing.
More than just a room makeover, this program creates an environment where children can feel safe, supported, and begin to heal.
Seasonal Support
Holiday Hope: Adopt-a-Family & ELF (Every Last Family) Shop
Holiday Hope brings joy and relief to families experiencing crisis during the winter season. Through our Adopt-A-Family program, individuals, businesses, and ministries are matched with vetted families to provide essential support, including coats, space heaters, cleaning supplies, and gifts for children. For those not matched, our ELF (Every Last Family) Shop ensures every referred family receives holiday assistance. We also distribute donated holiday decorations to create a warm, festive home environment. By coming together as a community, we help families celebrate the season with dignity, warmth, and hope.
Student Support
The Closet by Mercy Mall: Supporting Students with Confidence and Care
The Closet by Mercy Mall is a school-based program that provides students with clothing and shoes—discreetly and with dignity. Through partnerships with local schools, counselors and staff refer students experiencing hardship so they can quickly receive the essentials they need.
By meeting these basic needs, we help remove barriers to learning while restoring confidence and a sense of belonging.
More than just providing clothing, this program creates a bridge to additional support for students and their families.
